The staff of THE BLACK COLLEGIAN is pleased to announce that Andrea Wilkerson, a student at Colorado Northwestern, was named our first African-American History Scholar for 2008, following her perfect score on our current edition's African American History Pop Quiz.
Ms. Wilkerson has so far been joined in the winner's box this year by scholars from these colleges and universities:

THE BLACK COLLEGIAN's African American History Scholars are named each year for submitting perfect answers to our African American History Quiz appearing annually in our Second Semester edition. The contest is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year college or university. Those who are the first on their campus to send answers scoring 100% receive a $50 honorarium and are recognized in publication on THE BLACK COLLEGIAN Online as African American History Scholars.
