Recently Added Features: Video, Nonprofit Careers, Male Students

This week, we are featuring in our Xtra Video and Media section an inspiring video, "Lift Every Voice and Sing". The video produced by Ascender Communications features the 'Negro National Anthem' originally screened at the historic African-American Church Inaugural Ball in Washington, DC on January 18th, 2009. Also added recently is a feature profile of Willie Iles, Jr., National Director for Government & Community Relations for the Boy Scouts of America. Mr Iles discusses the challenges and rewards of working in the nonprofit sector, and in the BSA, which is embarking on its 100th Anniversary in 2010. We are also glad to welcome back past contributor Ian Evans, with his feature Gentleman of Quality, an exploration of "Young Black Men who are upholding the tradition of achievement, striving for excellence, and battling society's negative stereotypes."
